So I Gave Myself A Project...
my only constraints were having to use these three images and layering them with other images. they feel very similar to screenprinting, minus the activity of doing so. i didn't venture too far away from the images themselves but it was just a practice of photomontaging. am i hooked on photoshop?

A Drive To Pick Up Chris
yvette picked me up from the apartment to go pick up chris. we drove down sunset blvd all the way to water where chris works as a lifeguard. reminded me of driving through the appalachian mountains, only instead of ending up at a ski resort i was welcomed by the sunset and blue skies. and a nice house i would love to live in.

Phil And Chiquito (The Smallest Living Things I Know (Personally))
phil is a chorkie (cross between chihuahua and a yorkie). He is about a month and half old and is a new addition to the apartment i've been staying at. i call him "rat dog", the name my dad gave a neighborhood dog due to its size and weak bark. it's not that nice but its so tiny i really think it actually may be a rat sold to my friend as a dog. he tells me it's going to grow, i hope it does. his favorite spot is on the couch nestled in this blanket.
chiquito is a very unique person. he is the youngest of ten. he is a proffessional knife thrower. he traveled for a month by himself from guatemala to san diego six years ago in search of a better life. cut six years forward and chiquito has earned enough money to build a home back in guatemala and would like to see what it looks like soon. we had a minute today at work and i was shooting. he asked me to take a few photos of him to send to his family back home...here they are. go, chiquito, go!
